"Logrado" Glacier Trail...

A one an only expedition. We will be in close contact with really wild nature for 5 days. We will go across lakes and rivers, riding a horse by millenary forests and spending our time with actual Patagonia people who have been here for several generations.

We will taste delicious wild fruits from this region, naturally risen by the special ground and weather of the place. Here the fauna and ecosystems change to show us an exceptional natural phenomenon.

After that we will reach an outstanding place the "Logrado" Glacier. This trail follows a mountain range path at approximately 2,000 m.o.s.l. We climb to get as close as possible to the edge in order to enjoy the scenery and the happiness of being in one of the most beautiful uninhabited places on Earth.

• Personal equipment needed: Sun glasses, a hat, waterproof shoes, sun screen, warm and light wash and wear clothing. In summer please bring a swimming suit.

You can get to "Río Puelo" from "Puerto Montt" or "Puerto Varas".

Through "Puerto Montt" route. By "Carretera Austral" highway, arriving to "Caleta Arena" and crossing "Estuario del Reloncaví" estuary by ferry, you can get by car or the vans that departure daily from the "terra-puerto" station of "Puerto Montt" at 16:45 hrs. going directly to "Río Puelo".

Through "Puerto Varas" route. The way is a little longer, you take the road to "Ensenada", and then arriving to "Ralún" and "Cochamó" "Río Puelo" is just 43 Km. far. Departures from "Terra- Puerto" bus station in "Puerto Montt" are at 8:00 A.M., 12 A.M., 16:00 hrs. and they leave you right at the door of "Camping Cabalgatas Río Puelo".
